Aaron C. Emmons, MD

Originally from Augusta, Georgia Dr. Emmons received an undergraduate degree in genetics at the University of Georgia in Athens. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Emmons completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, a fellowship in leadership in informatics, quality and systems and a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology from the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Emmons clinical interests include advanced heart failure, ischemic cardiomyopathy, non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and amyloid cardiomyopathy.

“I will spend the time to talk to my patients so that they understand why I make particular recommendations. I am passionate about educating my patients about their disease and working with them as a partner to provide the best care possible.”

When not working, Dr. Emmons enjoys spending time with his wife and young son exploring Colorado. His favorite activities include hiking, cycling, camping and snowboarding.

Moumita Naidu, MD

Moumita Naidu, MD

Born in India and raised in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Naidu earned an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Colorado College in Colorado Springs and a master’s in Biology from Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Indianapolis and a Cardiology Fellowship at Michigan State University/Providence Hospital. Dr. Naidu is triple boarded in internal medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She also has advanced training in coronary CT angiography.

“I strive to take care of the whole patient, including the physical, spiritual and emotional heart.”

When not seeing patients, Dr. Naidu enjoys time with her family including her husband and young children. They can often be found outdoors, hiking and participating in yoga.
